09 Jun Summer LINK Clemson – Off and Running!
Clemson Summer LINK is off and running! We are just 3 days into the summer, yet we have already ate ice cream together, served together, and saw a live no hitter happen together!
Today was orientation where we really got to sit down and learn what this summer will be like in Clemson at Crosspoint Church. We are so blessed here to be in the context of a healthy local church where we can serve alongside some awesome staff members and elders. We are focused this summer on building team unity as we pursue the mission of Crosspoint Church to make disciples of all people for God?s glory.
Through the personal share time of our Summer LINK participants, we got to really see their heart for what they want to see God do in their lives this summer. We were pretty united in our desire to grow in our walk with Jesus, to grow in evangelism and discipleship, and to learn more about serving full time in a local church.
This summer will be full of activities, events, socials, and meetings, but today in orientation we stressed that no matter how much we do, our main and number one job description is our personal walk with Jesus this summer.
