08 Jun Summer Link Raleigh starting off strong…
Summer Link 2016 in Raleigh, NC is starting off strong. Our vision this summer is to see our Church pour into our Summer Link team. We want to give our team the tools to engage our community well with the gospel. Through the Discipleship classes and Equip nights, our team will be taught, inspired, and challenged to spread the gospel through evangelism and discipleship.
We want to see our Summer Linkers hearts moved, and through that, see our community’s heart turn towards Christ. We are excited for what God has for us over the next 9 weeks. Pray with us as we evangelize throughout the community and serve the local church.?We look forward to walking this journey with you all for the Kingdom!
Here is a little bit about our team:
My name is Jesse Pacchioli. I was born in sunny South Florida and lived there for 22 years. I have been married to my lovely, redheaded wife Joanna for 2 years. We met at Liberty and share many of the same desires for ministry. I aspire to equip leaders and pastors over the next generation. I am serving as the Summer Link director and am excited about the next 9 weeks.
My name is Kaycee Lookingbill. I am in Generation Link and am serving as the Assistant Summer Link director. I moved to NC from Oklahoma in August to pursue an M.A. in Ministry to Women at SEBTS. I?m a lover of books, coffee, laughs, and mascara. I have a heart for discipling high school and college-aged girls and am excited to see what the Lord does through our college students this summer!
Esther Lee was born and raised in California and is falling head over heels for Raleigh. She has seen God faithfully turn her life upside down and is transferring to Southeastern in the Fall to pursue Justice and Social Ethics. As a fellow broken but redeemed daughter, she desires to encourage and delight young women towards the Lord. She is most excited to learn and be challenged in loving the local church and the unreached with gospel-centered love.
Alannie Marshall is from all over, but mostly Lynchburg, VA; Buffalo, NC; and Raleigh, NC. She is currently studying at Liberty University Online for her B.S. in Religion-Christian Ministries with a focus on youth and children. She works part-time at her local Disney Store, where you can find her sprinkling pixie dust regularly. She is most excited to see how God will work through our team this summer.
Hannah Millard was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina! She is currently a student at Wake Tech Community College working on her Associate of Arts degree. This summer, she is most excited about being discipled/taught by older, wiser believers and to learn & practice what it really looks like to obey Christ?s command to make disciples in everyday life.
Shannon Marshall was born and raised in Raleigh and has moved around to VA and MI during her childhood before moving back. She is currently a Culinary Arts major and a part-time barista at Starbucks. Shannon is so excited to see how the Lord is going to work this summer in drawing the lost to himself. She can?t wait to see how God grows and shapes her into the image of Christ, as well as the wonderful friendships that are sure to be strengthened.
Cameron Stanley is originally from Roanoke, VA, but has lived much of his life in Raleigh. He is currently going to SEBTS pursuing a Bachelors degree in Theology. He will be graduating this Fall and is in the application process to go overseas for two years with the International Mission Board. He is excited about being apart of Generation Link and to see how it will prepare him for future ministry and for his time overseas. Cameron can?t wait to see what God has in store and what growth and maturity He will bring about in him through this program.
Dillon Pegram is originally from Winston Salem, NC and is studying at the College at Southeastern. He is studying for an BA/MDiv in Pastoral Ministry through the Hunt Scholar Program. He is excited for the opportunity to work more with the church he calls home, Open Door, and see how God will reveal more of Himself through community, Scripture, and opportunity.
Derek Nixon is originally from Edenton, NC. He is a senior at Southeastern and pursuing a degree in Christian Studies with a minor in Pastoral Ministry. This summer, he is looking forward to serving the local church in a variety of ways, building relationships with other Summer and Generation Link students, and evangelizing in the community.
We have such a great group and are excited to see how the Lord is going to work in their lives and ours over the next 9 weeks.
For the Kingdom,
Jesse Pacchioli and Kaycee Lookingbill
