Update from Prague – 6/29/16

Greetings from Prague and from the Summerlink Prague team!

During our time here in Prague, our goal has been to get to know Czech students and share the life-giving message of Jesus with them. As the students have been preparing for their final exams over the last few weeks, we have been giving out free coffee in an attempt engage students in conversation with the message that we are trying to show God?s love in a practical way. Along with this, we have also been eating lunch in the Menza, which is what they call the cafeteria, in order to meet students, learn about their spiritual beliefs, and share about Jesus. This outreach has allowed us to make contacts with students and hang out with them in their free time.
Between these two methods for getting to know students we have been able to make a lot of contacts and have seen much fruit as a result! We?ve been able by God?s grace to share the gospel often and even go through the Bible with multiple students who are extremely open and interested in Jesus. Last week, two people came to faith and put their trust in Jesus as their savior and as their Lord! Please be in prayer for Maria, a Slovakian homeless woman, and for Claudia, an exchange student from Columbia. Pray for both women that their new faith would grow and that they would find biblical community. Continue to pray for our team that through the power of the spirit will continue to share the gospel with boldness. We are extremely thankful for the work that we have seen God do in Prague over the last few weeks.

In Christ,

Guy Kemmann
